Among the most important things that occur at church on a weekly basis is communicating. The Audio Visual Ministry exists to ensure that the preaching and worship are delivered to the congregation as effectively as possible. At Harvest we believe in excellence and creativity, yet without making the elements of our service so extravagant and overly complicated that they become a distraction.
There are two primary areas of the A/V Ministry:
Sound & Audio
These volunteers are primarily responsible for making Pastor Jeff and our worship leaders sound good on Sundays. This means being available to set up, performing a sound check with the band and singers on Sunday mornings around 8:15 am, and operating the audio console in our weekend worship services. Other responsibilities include running sound for special events.
Visual & Presentation
The primary role is to operate our lighting, projectors, presentation software, and videos in Sunday morning services. This means being present to help set up any presentations as well as perform a run-through with the worship team Sundays at 8:15 am.
Our A/V Ministry is always in need of volunteers. If you are interested in being part of this ministry which is such an integral part of our church services, please contact Monte Clark or the Media Team at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the church office.
